About Us

Lifesabeachinc.com is so excited to share the solution to our growing PLASTIC PROBLEM threatening marine life and our oceans.

Since we have no “plan B” for our planet, coming up with this simple solution is a huge leap in the right direction.

Every day we go through a staggering 500 million plastic straws.  A leading scientific study notes that of the 8.3 billion metric tons of plastic ever produced, only 9% has been recycled.  Of that remaining number, 12% has been incinerated and about 79% ends up in landfills, dumps or the natural environment.

Because of how lightweight straws are, they easily make their way to waterways and oceans.  Since it can take up to 200+ years for straws to biodegrade, this is not a problem that is going away quickly.  What we can do is start making changes to our daily habits by using a product that is environmentally friendly

All of our compostable straws are originated in nature.  Made of plant material in accordance with the standards of ASTM 6400, EN13432 and OK to compost.  Made from three simple ingredients, our straws fully biodegrade in up to 80 days.

If you are looking for a straw that won’t leave residue in your drink, disintegrate (paper) while using, or add an oily substance to your drink, The Real Hemp Straw is the perfect solution.  Our straws do not leave a residue and can last for multiple uses without disintegrating.

The Hemp Straw is made from a renewable resource as opposed to traditional plastics which are derived from nonrenewable petroleum.  PLA combined with hemp, sugar cane, and corn starch is the best way to produce the straw naturally degrading when exposed to the environment.  Compared to conventional plastics, this is truly a phenomenon.

We would love to help you integrate this product into your business.  Whether you wish to white label this product and resell, or simply buy at discounted wholesale pricing, we are excited to assist you in making a choice you can feel good about.

Let’s save our planet one Hemp Straw at a time!
